Before I get into the steps you need to take in order to start making $100 per day online, let me first say this. Consistency is the name of the game. One of the biggest reasons so many people fail at this whole make money online thing is because they lack consistency. They watch a video or read an ebook that gets them all excited and hyped up, but when the time comes for them to actually put some work in, they clam up. They write a few articles and then they quit. They create a few PPC ad campaigns and because they don’t perform like they wanted them to, they give up.
If you truly want to be successful online, or in any other area of your life, you will need to learn how to stick to it. Successful people are successful because they kept going no matter what. There will be some bumps in the road, but if you keep going, you will reach your goals.
Ok! Enough of that. Below I am going to outline a few steps you need to take in order to start making $100 per day online. Now as the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. In other words, all I can do is show you want you need to do. The rest is up to you. So here we go.
Step #1 – Find Something To Sell
Of course the first and most obvious step is to find something to sell. This can be ANYTHING. Either a product or a service. What you have to remember is that this is the world wide web and there is a market for almost everything. However, keep in mind that some markets are way more profitable then other markets. In my experience, the quickest way to get the ball rolling is to just sell an affiliate product.
Here’s why. With an affiliate product you don’t have to worry about anything other than driving traffic to the merchant or vendors site. Customer service, product delivery and all that other stuff is handled by the creator of the product. Of course there are other ways you can reach your $100 per day goal, such as writing articles, info product creation and eBay just to name a few. But for this example we will stick with affiliate marketing.
So head over to clickbank, sign up if you haven’t already, and find a product that you want to promote. Try picking a product that pays out at least $25. That way you will only need to make 4 sales a day to reach your goal of $100 per day. One thing that I look for when promoting an affiliate product is how much material is provided for the affiliate. For example, does the vendor provide articles, keywords, rebrandable reports that can be given away, email copy to send out etc. The more material that is provided, the easier it will be for you to start promoting the product.
So before you decide to promote a particular product, make sure you check their affiliate page to see what they have to offer their affiliates.
Step #2 – Set Up Shop
It is very important that you set up a simple blog or website to send traffic to. You never want to send traffic directly to the merchants website. And here’s why. I am sure you have heard it a million and one times, and thats because it is oh so true. You absolutely must build a list. If you send visitors directly to the merchants site, you will not be able to capture their name and email address. Building a list is one of the most valuable assets you will ever have in your online business.
You see, if you truly want to make the big money online, you must have a list. It just makes things easier. All you need to do is set up a blog using wordpress or blogger, sign up with aweber or any other email marketing service, post the code on your site and start giving away something for free in exchange for the visitors name and email address. Once you have their name and email address you can automatically redirect them to the merchants site.
And now since you have their contact info, you can continue to market to them for as long as they stay on your list.
Now when it comes to setting up a blog, all I do is write about 5 articles and then post them on the blog so I can have some content on it when visitors start to show up. You blog doesn’t need to be anything fancy. A simple blog with great content is all you need to start making $100 per day online.
Step #3 – Start Driving Traffic
There are many ways you can go about driving traffic to your website or blog. They all fall into one of two categories. Free or paid. I honestly haven’t done very much paid advertisement in the 6 years that I have been making money online. I personally do a ton of article marketing. I do this for two reason, one, when I first started I didn’t have very much money to spare so article marketing was pretty much my only option, and two, because it has continued to work very well for me so I keep doing it. As they say, if ain’t broke don’t try to fix it.
Now as I stated earlier, consistency is the name of the game. When it comes to driving traffic, you have to make it a priority every single day. If you write 5 articles and then quit, you will probably never make a dime online. A good article consists of 3 things. A keyword rich title, an informative body and a link with anchor text in the resource box.
When it comes to article marketing it is a numbers game. The more articles you have out there, the more traffic you will get. And of course the more traffic you get, the more money you will make.
Other free forms of traffic generation include video marketing, forum marketing, social media marketing and using answer sites such as yahoo answers.
